General Information
Cisco Router &
Switch Essentials is an accelerated two day hands-on tutorial that equips network
engineers and network managers with the fundamentals of Cisco routing and switching
technology. The course provides students with hands-on practical experience configuring
Cisco routers for typical business environments, and provides a good foundation for
students interested in achieving Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification.
All participants should have a basic understanding of routing concepts and a working
knowledge of Ethernet LANs, IP addressing and subnets, and IP protocols and applications. |
Athur Greenwald
Art Greenwald is a
Cisco Certified Internetworking Expert (CCIE #2612) and has over 10 years of experience
designing, building, and troubleshooting complex routed networks. As Manager of the
Internetworking Group at State Street Bank, Art was responsible for the implementation and
support of a multi-protocol global Cisco router network spanning 14 countries. While
at M5 Systems, Art has provided architecture review, implementation engineering, and
training services to small, medium, and large clients. Art has a Bachelor of Science
in Computer Science from Union College, and a Master of Business Administration from
Babson College.Stephen Moro
Steve Moro has extensive course development and training experience and for more than five
years taught five-day introductory and advanced Cisco router software configuration
classes to Cisco customers in the Northeast. As a Visiting Lecturer at the
University of Massachusetts Lowell, Northeastern University, and the Hartford Graduate
Center, Steve developed and taught courses in Data Communications, Network Design, and
Network Troubleshooting. Steve also developed and presented a series of
Internetworking and LAN Tutorials for the IEEE Lecture Series, Steve has a Bachelor
of Science in Electrical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University, and a Master of
Science in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. |
